I’m a Hero

yeah youre a hero too…

You don’t have to get up today, stay in bed. You keep the window open even though it’s raining, it sounds beautiful and the breeze is so refreshing you wish you could take a bite of it.

Keep one foot in the comforter to stay warm and one out to stay cool. It feels too good.  Who cares if it 2:30pm.  

Tell everyone to go to hell.  Call them at their desks…let them know that you’ve got your favorite mix of Jobim/Dylan/Smith playing loud, toking on your little J, and munching down on some Captain Crunch. They’ll love you for it.  

Let’s face it life sucks sometimes you know? Forget that you are stressing about making rent.  Forget about all the silly insecurities that shat on you earlier in the week.  Forget that McCain/Palin might be the new regime in the sweet country of ours.

Remember that all you need to do is give yourself a Hero Day.  Take a Hero Day, you deserve it.
